Foster Care

ECS provides foster care placement services for children who have been removed from their homes as a result of abuse or neglect. 

• General Foster Care
• Specialized Medical Care
• Specialized Behavioral Care
• Respite Care
• Delinquent Youth Care

Adoption

ECS is committed to the principle that all children need a permanent family.  When children cannot be returned to their birth families, ECS aggressively seeks adoptive families for them.
Additionally, ECS offers a variety of supportive services to families with adopted children.  Included in these services are:

• Individual, Group and Family Therapy
• In-Home Behavior Aides
• Respite Care

Juvenile Justice

Through “THE CHOICE” Program, ECS offers community reintegration support for youth who have completed residential treatment programs.  ‘THE CHOICE” utilizes a relapse prevention approach and targets youth who have displayed problems with substance abuse, sexual offending and other delinquent behaviors.

Clinical Treatment

ECS offers a range of therapeutic and psychological services that are available to children and families in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.  With the assistance of therapists, psychologists, behavior aides and case managers, ECS offers the following:

• Individual, Group and Family Therapy
• In-Home Support Services
• Respite Services
• Psychological Assessments
• Sexual Abuse Treatment
