Evergreen Children's Services |
Evergreen Children's Services was established in April of 1986 as a private, non-profit
organization that serves abused and neglected children. Our service to these
children and their families is to provide foster homes and other supportive
services until families can be reunited. |
We believe strongly that children thrive and grow best in their own family. However,
when reunification of the family unit is not possible, children are prepared
for permanency through our adoption and post-adoption services. |
Mission Statement |
Evergreen Children's Services is founded on the fundamental belief that all children
and youth, including those with serious problems can be successful in families
and in the community. Evergreen Children's Services offers a range of services
toward making that principle a reality for the children and youth the agency
serves. |
Through the years Evergreen has expanded its programs to include services to medically
fragile children, mentally impaired and developmentally disabled children,
and delinquent youth. We will continue to expand and diversify our services to
meet the changing needs of the children and families in our community. |
